Accessibility

Our commitment
HandymanCleaners wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as a practical standard, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task.
What we do
- Use clear, structured headings and meaningful page titles.
- Provide descriptive alternative text for images that carry meaning, and mark purely decorative images so assistive technology can skip them.
- Make the site fully usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline so you can see where you are.
- Label every form field, keep instructions in plain language, and use the browser's built-in, accessible validation messages.
- Aim for readable color contrast and a layout that reflows cleanly on phones, tablets, and at high zoom levels (up to 200%).
We intentionally do not use an accessibility overlay widget, because overlays can interfere with the assistive technology you already use. Instead, we build accessibility into the pages themselves.
Known limitations
Accessibility is never finished. Some content or third-party features may not yet be perfect, and we work to fix issues as we find them. If something on this site is hard to use with your assistive technology, we want to hear about it.
How to report a problem
